As of February 1, 2022, the presumptive method of appearance for Pre-Trial Conference, Special Sets, Evidentiary hearings and Bench Trials will be held in Live-in person.

2. Mediation proceedings:
* The parties shall immediately call the Mediation Department at 305–349–7337 to schedule mediation. Mediation will be conducted in a manner agreed to by the parties or in accordance with Mediators policies or procedures. No need for motions or proposed orders. If parties cannot agree on the method of mediation, then there is a presumption that it will be set in person.
* The parties may submit any evidence in advance by e-mail to the mediation department at mediationdivision@jud11.flcourts.org.
Notes:
1) Make sure to add physical addresses to service list for a party that has not provided an email.
2) DO NOT SUBMIT ORDERS MORE THAN ONCE. It will reflect as pending until entered or rejected. **DO NOT mail them to Chambers.
3) All proposed orders submitted to "Proposed Orders" MUST be in Word format on the courtMap pre-generated blank order form and must be accompanied with a motion and all supporting documents (i.e. stipulations, returns of service, etc.) or with letter of explanation.
** Please be advised courtMAP automatically adds the case style, order title, judge's signature block, and the Done and Ordered language to the order.
4) If a hearing is scheduled, do not submit an order prior to the hearing unless the parties have resolved the motion and are submitting an Agreed Order.
Please be aware that certain items are prohibited on courthouse premises. If any listed prohibited item is detected to be in your possession when entering a court facility, you will be asked to exit the facility to secure the item elsewhere or dispose of it, before being allowed entry into the facility.
