 COURTMAP

NEW (1) Do NOT submit proposed orders through courtMAP unless: 1) instructed by the Court pursuant to a hearing or 2) is listed here as not requiring a hearing. DO NOT SEND PROPOSED ORDERS to JA unless you have been given instruction by the court.

(2) Before submitting an order to the court for approval, preview the order and make sure that the judge’s signature is not alone on a page. You can reduce the font or number of lines to accomplish this. This avoids the need for the judge to reformat every order. If the order is “Agreed” or “Unopposed” submit it under “Agreed Orders,” not “Proposed Orders,” you will receive a quicker response. Thank you.

We are scheduling special sets and motions for motion calendars as usual. Please submit requests via email to dbonini@jud11.flcourts.org. Provide the following: 1. Must confirm if hearing is an Evidentiary hearing and MUST confirm is testimony is required. 3. ALL PARTIES NEED TO BE COPIED. 4. MUST certify that parties have conferred and agree on the request.
Once the email request has been received, the JA will provide dates available for hearing.
Once a date/time has been confirmed by all parties an email will be sent by JA confirming the time slot has been created for the special set hearing on courtMap. Please request the time slot on courtMap for the Courts approval in a timely fashion. DO NOT LOOK FOR OPENED TIME SLOTS ON COURTMAP. DATE/TIME HAS TO BE APPROVED BY THE COURT. YOUR REQUEST WILL BE REJECTED IF NOT APPROVED. Special set hearings are not scheduled until they are approved by the Court.

Motion Calendar Procedures
In order for your matter to be added to Judge del Rio's Motion Calendar, the moving party MUST:
(1) Attempt to coordinate hearing with opposing counsel.  If, despite good faith effort, the moving party is unable to obtain reasonable cooperation in scheduling the matter, the hearing may be set unilaterally at least seven (7) DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING .  The Court expects that any motion may be heard eleven days after its filing.
(2) File motion and Notice of Hearing with the Clerk; and
(3) Upload motion and supporting documents, if any, via courtMAP at least three (3) DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING.
Responses:  Parties wishing to submit a response to a matter set on Motion Calendar must file said response with the clerk's office and upload documents through courtMAP.
Cancellations:  Counsel for the party who placed the matter on calendar shall file the notice of cancellation with the Clerk of the Court.  If the case was set through courtMAP you must cancel the hearing through courtMAP as well. If you encounter any issues please email  dbonini@jud11.flcourts.org

To access Zoom directly from courtMAP, click on “join zoom meeting” on the date/time of the hearing.

Motion calendar hearings are limited to 5 minutes per case.

*Submit your supporting documents (filed motion, notice of hearing, etc.) when creating the event on courtMAP.  DO NOT create multiple events (set multiple hearings) on any one case; the system allows for two (2) motions to be set on each case.  **The Court will not hear more than one (1) motions per case per motion calendar.**

IMPORTANT: Although the movant and the parties listed on the service list will receive an email from courtMAP indicating that an event has been created, a notice of hearing will not automatically generate.  The movant MUST e-file the notice of hearing via the e-portal system.
