PROCEDURES CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR CASES: 1. Plaintiffs' attorneys are to send Defendants proposed settlement agreements. If the matter is able to be resolved, the Plaintiffs are Ordered to submit an Order of Dismissal based on Settlement through CourtMAP or Notice of Settlement via e-mail to JA and Bailiff. 2. Attorneys can schedule Motion Calendar and Special Set through CourtMAP held virtually through Zoom (Max 15 minutes). 3. If the Plaintiffs fails to serve by PTC date (LIVE & IN-PERSON), a new summons MUST BE SENT TO THE CLERK OF COURT for a new PTC date and appearance is still mandatory.
IF YOU ARE AN ATTORNEY: If you have an Agreed Order, you may submit your Orders through CourtMap. Judicial Assistant: Isabelle Castillo E-mail: ICastillo@jud11.flcourts.org Bailiff: Nicholas Oddo E-mail: NOddo@jud11.flcourts.org
Please submit Agreed Orders through CourtMAP. Proposed orders should be in Times New Roman type, with a minimum of 12 point font.
Parties CANNOT agree to extend or continue Case Management Orders or Jury Trials. The Court hears Motion for Continuances at Calendar Call.
The Motion attached to the Agreed Order must be filed with Clerk prior to uploading any proposed orders. Failure to do so will result in the proposed order being rejected and require you to resubmit the proposed order. PLEASE NOTE: sending documents with proposed orders DO NOT get efiled by the Clerk. You must use the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal. Unless instructed by the Court to do so, please do not submit proposed orders via mail or e-mail to Chambers.
Orders must contain all information required (i.e., no blanks shall be left). Incomplete orders will be rejected and you will be asked to resubmit the proposed order with the complete information. Please submit the relevant underlying document(s) as "Supporting Documents" with the Agreed Order (for example, settlement agreement, stipulation for substitution of counsel, etc.).
Please be aware that certain items are prohibited on courthouse premises. If any listed prohibited item is detected to be in your possession when entering a court facility, you will be asked to exit the facility to secure the item elsewhere or dispose of it, before being allowed entry into the facility.
