Remember E-Filing is not the same as CourtMAP.
Matters that are only e-filed WILL NOT automatically upload to the Judge’s
Calendars. E-filing is for documents to be filed with the Clerk's Office
electronically. CourtMAP is used to submit courtesy copies to chambers
electronically and SET hearings.
PROCEDURES CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR CASES:
1. Plaintiffs' attorneys are to send Defendants proposed settlement
agreements. If the matter is able to be resolved, the Plaintiffs are
Ordered to submit an Order of Dismissal based on Settlement through CourtMAP or
Notice of Settlement via e-mail to JA and Bailiff.
2. Attorneys can schedule Motion Calendar and Special Set through CourtMAP held
virtually through Zoom (Max 15 minutes).
3. If the Plaintiffs fails to serve by PTC date (LIVE & IN-PERSON), a new
summons MUST BE SENT TO THE CLERK OF COURT for a new PTC date and appearance is
still mandatory.

Please submit Agreed Orders through CourtMAP. Proposed orders should be in Times New Roman type, with a minimum of 12 point font.
Parties CANNOT agree to extend or continue Case Management Orders or Jury Trials. The Court hears Motion for Continuances at Calendar Call.
The Motion attached to the Agreed Order must be filed with Clerk prior to uploading any proposed orders. Failure to do so will result in the proposed order being rejected and require you to resubmit the proposed order. PLEASE NOTE: sending documents with proposed orders DO NOT get efiled by the Clerk. You must use the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal. Unless instructed by the Court to do so, please do not submit proposed orders via mail or e-mail to Chambers.
Orders must contain all information required (i.e., no blanks shall be left). Incomplete orders will be rejected and you will be asked to resubmit the proposed order with the complete information.
Please submit the relevant underlying document(s) as "Supporting Documents" with the Agreed Order (for example, settlement agreement, stipulation for substitution of counsel, etc.).

All Emergency Motion should be e-filed and the "Emergency" box checked off in e-file system. Please note an emergency motion are to be considered a matter of life or death or eminent harm issues and when they are filed this alerts and interrupts the day for several Administrative Judges as well as back up and the presiding Judge and their staff as well.

ALL hearings in these matters must be coordinated with the Court's judicial assistant, unless otherwise directed by the Court. This includes Motions to Determine Rent and Final Hearings on the Complaint of Eviction. Your hearing will be canceled otherwise.
For any Landlord/Tenant Proposed Orders, please ensure that ALL parties are included in the service list.

2) E-mail a copy of the filed Notice for Trial to the Court's

ANY PROPOSED ORDER THAT DOES NOT COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER 22-02 WILL BE REJECTED. Proposed Orders are to be submitted through courtMAP. Proposed orders should be in Times New Roman type, with a minimum of 12 point font. The Title of the Proposed Order should include the full name of the Motion at issue. If the order is an Agreed Order, please utilize the "Agreed Order" option when submitting via courtMAP.

Please be mindful that, because of docketing delays, filings do not always appear on the docket immediately. Case law or statutes provided in the materials should highlight the relevant portions. ANY RESPONSIVE PLEADING MUST BE FILED AT LEAST 3 BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE HEARING. COURT SET HEARINGS SET BY COURT MAY NOT BE CANCELLED BY AGREED ORDER OR PARTIES.
