***SPECIAL SETS (Open & set by litigants) Maximum hearing time allowable is 15 minutes for Motion to Dismiss, Motion for Summary Judgment, More Definite Statement, Better Answers, etc.

 All FEE Hearings are LIVE AND IN-PERSON and can ONLY be set AFTER all records and necessary documents are filed.  Contact chambers with all parties that will attend the hearing on a conference call ONLY between 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday and Wednesday and the JA will set the hearing with all parties on the phone at that time.  4 different dates/times will be provided and parties must choose otherwise Court will select and set.  Please DO NOT E-MAIL JA for dates or times.

Remember E-Filing is not the same as CourtMAP.  Matters that are only e-filed WILL NOT automatically upload to the Judge’s Calendars.  E-filing is for documents to be filed with the Clerk's Office electronically. CourtMAP is used to submit courtesy copies to chambers electronically and SET hearings.

PROCEDURES CURRENTLY IN PLACE FOR CASES:
1. Plaintiffs' attorneys are to send Defendants proposed settlement agreements.  If the matter is able to be resolved, the Plaintiffs are Ordered to submit an Order of Dismissal based on Settlement through CourtMAP or Notice of Settlement via e-mail to JA and Bailiff.
2. Attorneys can schedule Motion Calendar and Special Set through CourtMAP held virtually through Zoom (Max 15 minutes).
3. If the Plaintiffs fails to serve by PTC date (LIVE & IN-PERSON), a new summons MUST BE SENT TO THE CLERK OF COURT for a new PTC date and appearance is still mandatory.

If there is still a scheduling difficulty, after documented reasonable attempts, please file a brief motion explaining the attempts and set on the the very next available Motion calendar which only requires 7 business days notice and the Courts will address the hearing need and scheduling accordingly.

IN-PERSON CALENDARS (WITH NO EXCEPTIONS, please do not call Chambers for request) will be Calendar Calls, Non-Jury Trials & Pre-Trial Conferences in the South Dade Justice Center in Court Room 2-2.

**If any of these motions are placed on Motion Calendar, the court will cancel them**
