How It Works

  1. The court can order one or multiple services. Your court order identifies the services you must complete, such as counseling, an evaluation, or a parenting class.
  2. Register with Family Court Services. Register within 10 business days through the online portal, by email, or by phone at (305) 349-5508.
  3. Receive your referral. FCS coordinates your referral to an approved community provider for the services listed in your court order.
  4. Contact your provider. Contact the provider to arrange your first appointment. Follow any deadlines in your court order or referral instructions.
  5. Compliance and progress reports. Your provider reports attendance and progress to FCS. Our team monitors your participation and keeps the court informed.

What does it cost?

Community providers may charge fees. The court decides who pays or how costs are shared.
