COVID - 19 Update:  The courthouse will be closed for in-person hearings until further notice, as per Administrative Order. Please monitor 11th Judicial Circuit website for updates on court closures and procedures. 

ALL presently scheduled hearings will be going forward via Zoom ONLY.

You will receive an email invitation 24 - 48 hrs prior to the hearing with the zoom link, in some cases a week before.    

 If you have not received the zoom link by 3:00 PM day prior to your hearing please contact the Judicial Assistant to: 305-349-7020. 

Please DO NOT submit any Orders prior to the hearing being conducted!!!!!!!

To participate by video, you must click on the weblink you received in the email invitation at the time your hearing is scheduled or call the phone number listed in the invitation to participate by phone. You do not need to download anything or set up an account in order for you to participate in a zoom hearing.

Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the judge can 
administer the oath.

*Please set the Foreclosure cases on Foreclosure Motion calendar ONLY (Wednesdays at 10:15 AM)

*Calendar Call for Jury Trials scheduled for October 26, 2020 is cancelled. Three week Jury Trial period for month of November's CANCELLED. 

All hearing must be scheduled on the CourtMap. Your hearing will NOT go forward if you only file a Notice of Hearing. 

The Notice of Hearing does not place your case on the calendar.

EVIDENTIARY HEARING AND TRIAL EXHIBITS SUBMISSION:   At least five (5) business days prior to an evidentiary hearing or non-jury trial (Civil or Foreclosure), all exhibits should be pre-marked for identification and shall include an index listing all proposed exhibits with the exhibit numbers or letters. The proposed pre-marked exhibits should clearly list the submitting party. The must be uploaded individually (one by one) . NOTICE OF FILING IS NOT SUFFICIENT FOR CLERK. 

You MUST contact the Judicial Assistant 5 days before the hearing to request a Courtroom Clerk.

* Motion Calendar is conducted on Tuesday's and Wednesday's at 8:30 a.m. AND 9:00 A.M.


* Foreclosure Calendar is conducted on Wednesday's at 10:15 A.M. and it is a different entry.

* Must give 7 Business Days’ Notice, please do not set anything less than seven days before except the Foreclosure cases.
* Parties need to and MUST coordinate with one another prior to scheduling.
* Do not request or set a motion that has not been filed.

*Motion Calendar is only for motions that will only take a maximum/total of 5 minutes to hear.

*Motion's and Supporting Documents MUST be uploaded to CourtMap immediately, otherwise your motion WILL NOT be heard.


*When you are setting the objections please file as supporting document as well the Motion you are objecting to. Up to two objections ONLY can be set on the motion calendar, if you have more than two you MUST place it on special set. 

* Motion's to Dismiss Complaint must have the Complaint attached as supporting document.

*You may set the maximum of two motions per calendar with two separate entry's.

 *In addition to filing motion with the clerk, you must submit Motion and Notice

  through CourtMap; A motion will not be heard: 
  If these items are not submitted. (Do not hand deliver to chambers please)
*Refrain from submitting Binders to Chambers (unless directed by the Court); 

THIS INSTRUCTION WILL BE IN PLACE WHEN COURTHOUSE REOPENS (ZOOM ONLY AT THIS TIME) **Telephonic Appearances: Will be allowed on a case by case basis.. A Motion must be filed along with a proposed order (submit via CourtMap).  Must included within the body of the order who is requesting to appear by phone. Please submit your Proposed order and Motion 3 Days prior to the hearing date then contact CourtCall at (888) 882-6878. 

CourtCall hearings will be heard at the end of the calendar.

All motions and notice of hearings (ONLY FOR MOTIONS TO CANCEL FORECLOSURE SALES) must be e-filed at least 3 business days before the scheduled hearing.  There are no emergencies.  Please do not wait until the last minute as you have known well in advance of the impending sale date.

courtMAP is a new online Management and Access Platform built upon technology infrastructure from Broward’s Court Management System.

courtMAP combines eCourtesy with online scheduling, online notification/confirmation, and allows judges to create and e-File orders. courtMAP also allows parties to self-schedule their case events - motion calendar, special sets, and trials - and attach the documentation previously submitted via eCourtesy.
