General Procedures: 


- All discovery hearings shall be held in person.
- The Court will sua sponte cancel a hearing if there are no supporting documents uploaded to the event on courtMAP at least 48 hours as well as delivery of **paper copy 3 business days for Special Sets prior to the hearing.  
    -Parties shall include the Docket Entry number (D.E.#") on all Notices of Hearing and Proposed Orders submitted to courtMAP.  If the docket entry numbers are omitted from the Notices of Hearing, the court may cancel your hearing.  If the docket entry numbers are omitted for the Proposed Orders, the Judge will reject your order.

Hearings will be set through CourtMAP:

 
Motion Calendar will be heard Monday at 9:00am and Thursday 9:00am, parties are responsible for setting Motion Calendar matters on CourtMAP and noticing the hearing to all parties.  Cancellations must be cancelled through CourtMAP  filing a notice of cancellation is insufficient. 

*Motions to Withdraw must be set on motion Calendar with notice to client, please use Order to Withdraw included in our Webpage.
-Special Set hearings are noticed through CourtMAP upon approval by the Court.   If cancellation is sought, the parties should indicate whether the motion/matter is resolved and upload a proposed order, upload a Notice of Cancellation through courtMAP, notify chambers via e-email CBL43@jud11.flcourts.org and phone call 305-349-7157.
* The moving party is to hire a Court Reporter for all Special Set hearings unless you seek leave from the Court.
* Any add-on to existing hearing time requires approval by the Court. Do not block multiple hearings on the same day for more than 1 hour. 
*In the event a movant (or responding party) believes more than one hour is needed, the case shall be set on the Motion Calendar so the Court may be advised of the nature of the motion and determine whether additional time will be allotted.
*Motions for Reconsideration/Rehearing:  submit by email with supporting transcript to the judicial assistant.  The Court will review and determine whether a hearing is necessary.
** The Judge requires that all parties confer and deliver one set of courtesy copies to chambers no later than 3 business days before the date of the hearing. The binder or courtesy copies must include only the motion, response, and reply, in that order, for each motion. The delivery must not include any attached exhibits, legal authority, or case law. If the motion is one seeking to dismiss a complaint or counterclaim, or to strike affirmative defenses, then the delivery must include the pleading sought to be stricken or dismissed. Those pleadings must not include their attached exhibits. These same materials shall also be uploaded through courtMAP at the date and time-slot on courtMAP. It shall be the responsibility of the movant to confer with all counsel and to provide a single comprehensive binder. Parties shall not submit competing binders.
Again, the binder shall include only the motion, the opposition, and any reply, and shall not include any attached exhibits or other materials (except as set forth herein regarding motions to dismiss or to strike pleadings).

MOTION CALENDAR for CBL CA43:  Monday and Thursday at 9:00AM

- All Parties must comply with CBL Rule 4.3, which refers to the requirement for the parties to Meet and Confer, before filing every motion.
NOTICE OF HEARINGS: Parties are to state the docket number of the motion and all memoranda related to the issue filed by either side on their Notice of Hearing. Notices of hearing are not deemed sufficient unless a docket entry number is listed.

- Cancellations- Counsel for the party who placed a matter on the Motion Calendar shall file the Notice of Cancellation with the Clerk. If the case was set through courtMAP you must cancel it through courtMAP.
    --Use of the Supporting Documents feature of courtMAP:  All motions and memoranda that support or oppose relief  requested shall be uploaded as supporting documents to the Motion Calendar hearing.  Any additional pleading, correspondence, or document that you believe Judge Rebull should consider in connection with the hearing should also posted as a supporting document.
Making Calendar:  In order to verify if your case made the Motion Calendar: 
    a. Log onto courtMap.
    b. Select “calendar” on top.
    c. Select “show events by case”.
    d. Enter your case number & click on the magnifying glass; and
your case hearings will populate.
