Coronavirus/COVID-19:   Courthouses are CLOSED for in-person hearings and trials based on public health advisories at the direction of the Florida Supreme Court.

The Circuit is moving to Zoom as a platform for remote hearings.  You will received an email from the Court with your meeting/hearing information. To participate by video, you must click on the weblink you received in the email invitation at the time your hearing is scheduled or call the phone number listed in the invitation to participate by phone. You do not need to download or set up an account in order for you to participate in a Zoom hearing.

Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the Judge can administer the Oath.

If you do not wish to proceed or have resolved your matter, please use the CANCELLATION function via CourtMAP or call the Judge's office.

After a Virtual Hearing:  ALL Orders reflecting the Judge's ruling MUST be submitted via CourtMAP daily. The language MUST be agreed by all parties.

Motion Calendar Days/Time:   Motion Calendar is held every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m.  Motion Calendar hearings are limited to ONE per day, 5 minutes per case.  Hearings NOT COORDINATED with "ALL" parties will be CANCELLED.

To Make Calendar:   Select available date and time via courtMap.  The filed motion(s) and all documents in support must be attached when the hearing is scheduled. Once a green "Success" message appears, the hearing has made calendar.  You must still prepare, file and serve a Notice of Hearing. 

Responses:  Submit the filed Response, if any, via courtMap under the "Motion Calendar", case number and hearing date, prior to the hearing date.

Cancellations:   The party that noticed the hearing may cancel via courtMap after filing its Notice of Cancellation.  May also send Notice of Cancellation via fax 305-349-7457 and calling Chambers to confirm.

courtMAP is a new online Management and Access Platform built upon technology infrastructure from Broward’s Court Management System.
