5168NOTE: ATTORNEY'S & PARTIES SHALL SUBMIT ALL MOTIONS WITH A PROPOSED ORDER (Order Must Be in Word Format in Order to be signed) through COURTMAP.
In view of the events related to the spread of the Coronavirus and the Chief Justice’s recent orders, our Circuit is swiftly moving to adapt to using the Zoom platform to conduct all hearings. We have specifically been advised to make all efforts to accommodate hearings by the use of technology. Accordingly, oral arguments currently scheduled for April 14, 2020 at 1:30 pm will go forward using Zoom technology. All future oral arguments will go forward using Zoom technology until future notice.
If oral argument has been granted in your case, please download the Zoom application, which you may use for free, at https://zoom.us/. To learn how to use Zoom, please click here for some excellent and short tutorials. The Texas courts are already up and running and have some excellent materials:

If your case is being scheduled for oral argument, you will receive a Zoom invitation by email, which will contain a hyperlink, meeting room information and any password, if necessary. If you wish to participate by telephone instead of through video, a ZOOM phone number to call in will be provided in the email you receive. Please do not call the judicial assistant for this information, this information will be sent to you by email with all pertinent information for logging on to your calendared argument. If you are aware of a party to your case who is not on the Efiling service list, please forward them the ZOOM hearing information. Please assist the Court by learning how to use the ZOOM platform. Your cooperation and patience is very much appreciated as we all adjust to this new method of conducting Court proceedings. Our Circuit is committed to the continued delivery of justice in the face of this pandemic. We hope you all stay well. Thank you.
