ZOOM HEARING PROCEDURES
Thank you for appearing via Zoom for our hearing. A Zoom hearing has the usual rules of behavior and decorum, as if you were in a courtroom.  Here are some ground rules to get the most out of the Zoom platform :

1.     Zoom works best on a computer with a camera and a microphone. Please ensure your camera and microphone turned on, and please make  sure to unmute before you speak and mute after you speak so we don’t hear a lot of background noise.
2.     If you are using a phone, please do not use a speakerphone.
3.     To as much degree possible, please do not talk over one another.
4.     I will be adhering to strict time limits as other parties are waiting online for their hearings as well.
5.     If your client is present, I will be placing his/her Zoom account on mute for the time being.
6.     Please be aware as to who may also be present where you are speaking. Background noise will be disruptive to our proceedings.
7.     Zoom hearings shall not be recorded and the parties SHALL NOT record, videotape or take photographs of the hearings.  If there is a court reporter, the parties shall notify the court that there is one present.
8.     Video appearance is required for any participant whose testimony is necessary so the judge can administer the oath.

9.     CHILDREN SHALL NOT BE PRESENT OR WITHIN HEARING DISTANCE OF THE ZOOM CONFERENCE.
